Gas boilers or a heat pump?

The installation of oil boilers is due to be banned in new homes in 2022 and new gas boilers banned in new homes in 2025. But the government is looking at speeding up the programme in its new climate action plan.

The direction of travel is clear, and it will not be long before there are penalties for replacing an old gas boiler with a new one in an existing residence.

Now is the time to review existing portfolios and to consider like-for-like replacements, or plans to switch to newer renewable solutions such as air source or ground source heat pumps.

Account Management and Customer Service

We assign a lead account manager to landlords and work directly with them as well their property management company, any retained contractors, and grant funding sources.

As part of our service, we can organise communications with residents – including delivery of posters, leaflets and letters – and run EPCs for each flat as required. There will be a free phone Customer helpline to answer any questions residents might have.


Safety and the coronavirus

Under Government coronavirus guidance, HomeSun has continued to operate. We have a Covid-safe policy within our workplaces and on site. This includes, for example, doing as much as we can outside a property, and maintaining hygiene and social distancing practices.
