Solar Powered Pets Competition:
1. This competition is open to customers of HomeSun and invited Prospects who are residents of the UK, aged 18 or over, excluding employees of HomeSun and their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.
2. Entries are accepted between 00.01 on 15 August 2011 and 23.59 on 31 December 2011.
3. To enter: Upload a photo or a video of your best solar powered pet at www.homesun.com/community-network/homesun-community.
4. Prizes: Each month, there is 1 x M&S Gift Voucher worth £100 to be won, for the best Solar Powered Pet.
5. Winner Selection: Each calendar month, all entries will be reviewed by a judging panel (under independent supervision) who will select the best Solar Pet using the following criteria:
a. creativity
b. original
c. true life
6. Winners will be notified by email within 14 days of each of the closing dates referred to in clause 3. Winners who do not respond within 14 days of being notified will be disqualified and an alternative winner selected in the same manner.
7. Videos should be no more than 2 minutes long and must be no larger than 150MB, images should be a maximum of 50MB.
8. Entries will be rejected if they:
a. contain defamatory, malicious, indecent or other inappropriate content;
b. refer to brands other than those of the Promoter;
c. include the names, likenesses, photographs, videos or similar of any individual without their express permission.
d. represent a danger to health and safety.
9. Entrants should ensure that they have the permission of anyone who appears in their video or image and if under 16, appropriate parental consent.
10. Decisions on acceptability will be made entirely at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
11. All entries are subject to moderation. The Promoter has the absolute discretion to upload or not upload or to remove any content already uploaded without giving reasons or recourse for its decision.
12. Only one entry per person using either video or a photo. Proof of identity may be requested.
13. If an entry has been created by more than one person, you must pick only one person to be the entrant. The Promoter will assume that this person is empowered to act and respond on behalf of all those involved in the specific submission.
14. No compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
15. No bulk, third party or organised group entries will be accepted. Incomplete, illegible or corrupt entries or those not in accordance with entry instructions will not be accepted.
16. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of transmission, posting or sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
17. The names and counties of the winners, along with their winning entries, will be available on www.promowinners.com/homesunpet between September 2011 and 31 January 2012. This information, along with the losing entries will also be available on http://www.homesun.com/community-network/homesun-community/competition/between 18 September 2011 and 31 January 2012.
18. Entries will become the property of the Promoter (including all intellectual property rights in the entry) and will not be returned.
19. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the competition and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. See our privacy policy at http://www.homesun.com/privacy-policy.
20. By taking part in this promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
21. To the fullest extent possible by law, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for damages, losses or injuries that result from acceptance of the prize.
