SolarShare™

SolarShare™ is straightforward.  If you have a good solar roof, HomeSun will install a solar system and maintain for 25 years - and you can get lots of lovely free electricity from the sun.  How do we do it?  Well, we recieve the government Feed-in Tariff subsidy and we also ask for a small one off contribution from the homeowner (the amount depends on the installation but until now it's been up to £500).

We're pleased to have installed SolarShare systems across the country, and we're taking applications now for the next phase of installations.  This phase will start when we hear the level of the new subsidy - expected some time in February. 

Depending on how you use electricity and the system we're able to install, you could see your electricity bills drop by a third

• close to south facing
• South of the country
• At least 20m2+ of unshaded area with clearance space around the panels
• More than 500 metres from the sea

(unfortunately, we can’t work on flat roofs or listed buildings, and conservation areas are a bit of a challenge)
