Robert and Karen from Somerset have been very pleased with the savings they have made and surprised that small changes to the way in which they use electricity is making the difference to their electricity bills.
"We are delighted that there has been a worthwhile reduction in the amount of electricity used and therefore in the cost, since installation of the solar panels. To achieve this, we have changed the way in which electricity is used, i.e., using items such as washing machines, tumble dryers etc. later in the day when the power is supplied by the panels, not from the grid. We also don't use multiple items of equipment if possible. The little effort involved is rewarded by the reduced bills!"
