Michael, a small business owner working from home, has always been looking for ways to save on his electricity bills.
He didn't have to go far to find out more about HomeSun. With his neighbours installing a Free Solar system about 3 months ago, and with the same exact style house it sounded like a no-brainer to him. “Following a mail drop, we contacted Dave Garbett of Homesun and, after a small presentation telling us more about the product, we decided it was too good an opportunity to miss” Dave also advised Mike that one of his neighbours was also having an installation and funnily enough one by one nearly the whole street is now getting free electricity. A HomeSun Solar Specialist came to his home to explain the benefits of having solar panels and the process behind install. With a bit of solar envy as more popped up along his street he certainly was ready to enjoy the benefits.
"The installation process was pretty pain free with only a minor hiccup or two, we had no problems with HomeSun at all." About 80% of our street now has solar panels. Michael is eagerly awaiting the last few remaining to sign up, which will help HomeSun have a complete Solar Street.
After the installation his wife started to talk to friends and family about the benefits of solar panels - "It's a greener way to go. It helps the environment as well as your pocket. We would recommend it to everyone."

Despite the increase in energy prices over the past few years "Homesun claims to reduce bills by up to 30%, and after comparing our bills from the previous year we found the solar panels had reduced our bills by just over 32%!".

Mike and his family often get local people asking him about his solar panels. He even had a friendly visitor, who also had a Homesun installation, ask him why he wasn't saving any money on his electricity bills. After a quick chat, they discovered that he was leaving his immersion heater on all day, which was using up most, if not all, of his free electricity!! Homesun hopes he has changed this and is now seeing some savings!
