Since having them fitted in October 2010, Maggie’s solar panels not only have been generating free electricity for her, but also a lot of interest from the local passers-by.
Walkers often knock on her door interested in her solar panels. Maggie is happy to tell them about HomeSun and even has brochures for them to take away that answer all their questions.
Maggie was first approached by one of HomeSun’s solar specialist who suggested she and her neighbour shared the panels as their roof was ideally south facing.
“They explained the whole process to me and they were very nice and helpful. I was also a great relief to know that they would be dealing with all the paperwork and the lease, so I didn’t have to worry about anything.”
It was important for Maggie to do her bit for the planet and financially it also made a lot of sense. A few months later, Maggie’s panels are saving her money, as well as reducing her impact on the environment.
