Alan from Isle of Wight

Alan Cotton is a 65 year old retired Electrical Engineer for GKN Aerospace’s Aircraft Engine Building Bay. Always looking to improve his home, he has been interested in solar panels for a few years.

On the hunt for solar and to save on his electricty bills, Alan discovered HomeSun at an Isle of Wight exhibition. After the show he jumped online to find out more and was impressed with all of good information and decided to apply. HomeSun organised an assessment and installed panels soon after.

The day that the installation providers came to fit the system ended up being one of the worst weather days the Isle of Wight has seen for months! But this is a professional team …. Alan was so pleased with the work he took photos of the team and printed out copies for them to take home. Now, that’s what we call customers’ service!

Alan is keeping a close watch of his meter readings. “I have found since they have been fitted that the saving at the moment is over 50%. Which is brilliant!”
