Doreen was told today that she will be eligilble for her solar panels and "can't believe her luck!". "At the start of the process there was a little communication problem, however from that point on we have no complaints. The installers started to arrive at 7:30am they were polite and respectful of our home they did their best to make everything as smooth going as possible. It was good to see that they worked with safety in mind and ensured that our home was kept tidy to help prevent our family coming to harm. Once the system was fully installed it was thoroughly checked to ensure it was working as it should and then I was shown the system and how everything works. I have spent the last couple of days checking what our electricity meter is doing and what happens when we switch something on. Overall I would recommend Homesun to my friends and work colleagues as I feel everyone should do what they can to help the environment and the service we have received has been exemplary. There was only one small set back and that was the scaffold installers, they did not arrive on the Wednesday as arranged they arrived at around 10:30am on the day of the install and so the Solar installers had to return the following day, meaning the Solar panels were not completed in a single visit. My savings are really pleasing. As it happens, I received my electricity bill today along with a letter asking if I would like to reduce my monthly payments. I had already reduced them from £75 to £35 a month and even after paying my account for the last period, I am now credit to the sum of £230! For the corresponding period 2010 I was charged for using 1652 units of electricity. This year for the same period, my usage has been reduced to 694 units, representing a saving of nearly 1000 units!
