Tom, who is 61 and lives in Shiphay in the north of Torquay, said: “I saw HomeSun’s free solar panels advertised on the TV and thought it was just common sense to apply."

On the day the installation team started work at 9am and by 2pm he was able to watch his solar meter readings. "The panels haven’t cost me a penny and now I expect to save about a third off my electricity bill every year."

80% of the company’s installations are Free Solar Panel systems which cost the customer nothing for installation, equipment or maintenance for the full 25 year contract. The customer receives all the free, clean electricity they can use, while HomeSun is reimbursed by the government-backed Feed-In Tariff.
